FyreBox™
BOSS FyreBox™ is a multi-service fire-rated cable and pipe transit system engineered to simplify and accelerate the firestopping of large mixed-service penetrations. It allows multiple electrical, plumbing and HVAC services to pass through a single compact fire-rated enclosure, dramatically reducing installation time while maintaining full compliance across fire-rated walls, concrete slabs and ceiling/floor systems.
Designed with installers in mind, FyreBox™ includes a unique BrushSeal™ system that enables new services to be added post installation without the need to break the fire seal. Providing fire resistance ratings up to FRL -/240/240 (integrity/insulation), it delivers one of the industry’s most versatile, certified and cost-efficient passive fire solutions for high-density buildings such as apartments, student accommodation, aged care and hotels.

Testing
The BOSS FyreBox™ is fully tested and approved to AS1530.4:2014 and AS4072.1-2005, delivering up to FRL -/240/240 relevant to the type of services, wall/floor substrate and installation configuration. Approved performance includes mixed services such as electrical cables, sprinkler pipes, PEX/PEX-AL water and gas pipes, and an extensive array of insulated copper pipes and paircoil through a single enclosure. Extensive testing has enabled the product to have the widest range of approved substrates on the market for a firestopping system offering endless versatility.
