FireStrip-ALX™
FireStrip-ALX™ is a high-performance elastomeric intumescent fire barrier designed for linear gap seals in both horizontal and vertical fire-rated joints. Constructed from a flexible acoustic foam laminated on both sides with a graphite-based intumescent material, FireStrip-ALX™ expands rapidly under heat to seal movement gaps and prevent the spread of fire, smoke and hot gases through compartment boundaries. It is suitable for use between rigid structural elements such as concrete, blockwork and fire-rated walls and floors, providing reliable firestopping where movement is expected.
Engineered for fast, simple installation, FireStrip-ALX™ is installed by friction-fitting into voids without the need for mechanical fixings or adhesives. It provides fire resistance up to FRL -/120/120 and has testing for linear joints up to 150mm wide, offering a practical and installer-friendly solution that requires minimal preparation.

FireStrip-ALX™ is fully tested and approved to AS1530.4:2014 and AS4072.1-2005, delivering fire resistance up to FRL -/120/120 in linear gap applications in wall and floor elements.
