Specimen size & details
250 mm x 250 mm aperture in the CLT slab. Two layers of 252 mm x 252 mm BOSS Batt™ are to be friction-fitted into the opening, recessed 20 mm from the bottom face of the slab. A 50 mm wide x 50 mm thick strip of BOSS Batt™ is to be installed between the two BOSS Batt™ layers around the perimeter. A 5 mm x 5 mm fillet of BOSS FireMastic-300™ is applied around the edge of the batt on the underside of the slab.
