Meet FireMastic-HPE: High pressure fire protection for modern service penetrations
FireMastic-HPE™ is a premium graphite-based intumescent sealant engineered for reinstating fire resistance in walls, floors and ceilings where services pass through.
When exposed to heat, it expands up to 40 times its volume, exerting pressure around the penetration to close gaps left by melting plastics and combustibles. The result is a dense, stable char that maintains both integrity and insulation during a fire for up to 4hrs.
FireMastic-HPE™ is designed for the real-world conditions installers face every day: tight gaps, mixed trades, unpredictable penetrations and endless versatility. It is one of the most versatile fire sealants available due to its extensive testing on different services and substrates.
Why FireMastic-HPE Stands Out
- High pressure intumescent performance — FireMastic-HPE™ does more than expand. It actively pushes against the surrounding substrates, closing gaps and sealing around melting plastics or irregular shapes.
- Approved across a wide range of services — It is tested for plumbing, electrical and HVAC installations, including combustible and non-combustible services.
- Strong fire resistance — With fire ratings up to FRL -/240/240 (depending on system), HPE delivers long duration performance for demanding applications.
- Designed for versatility — Offering one way installation methods, and variable annular gaps the product offers versatility to suit real world site conditions.
- Environmentally friendly — Low VOC formulation, non-hazardous ingredients, testing methods, and cartridges made from recycled materials, FireMastic-HPE™ is an eco-friendly for specifiers and installers.
- Bundled services — FireMastic-HPE™ carries extensive testing on bundled services for HVAC & Electrical sectors including lagged copper pipes, a/c paircoil bundles and larger cable bundles.
