FlexiCoat-MAK™

FlexiCoat-MAK™ is a fire-resistant, water-based elastomeric acrylic coating designed for use with BOSS FlexiBatt™ to create a highly flexible fire-rated system. Once applied, it prevents the passage of fire, smoke, sound and hot gases between fire-rated compartments and can achieve up to FRL -/240/180, depending on configuration. Featuring excellent air permeability resistance (tested to 600Pa), FlexiCoat-MAK™ is suitable for linear gap seals up to 200mm wide, and apertures 1100mm x 1100mm, providing secure compartmentalisation for a wide range of building environments.

As a high-movement, flexible coating, FlexiCoat-MAK™ offers up to 50% movement capability, making it ideal for dynamic installations where building or service movement is expected due to seismic conditions. It is designed for trowel, brush or pour application, delivering a durable, seamless seal compatible with cables, metallic and non-metallic services, trays and ladders. The coating is low-VOC, halogen-free, asbestos-free and unaffected by oil or fungus, ensuring a safe, clean and long-lasting solution for internal fire protection.
