Specimen size & details
90 × 45 mm H1.2 radiata pine penetrates an aperture up to 85 mm wide × 130 mm high. FireMastic-HPE™ is applied to the 20 mm annular gap to a depth of 13 mm on both sides. A 1000 µ DFT patch of FBL-100 Intumescent Coating System (ICS), nominally 245 mm wide × 290 mm high, is applied around the aperture to the exposed side. FBL-100 ICS is also applied to all four sides of the timber at 1000 µ DFT for 500 mm along its length to the exposed side.
